Where photo taken: Ka'anapali Resort, Maui HI
Best meal: Hula Grill - We had an appetizer to die for, which was the encrusted coconut calamari. This was not your typical rings and tentacles. This was calmari steak. We also had the Mahi Fish Taco which was out of this world. This was definitely one of the best dining spots in Maui. It is located oceanfront on Ka'anapali Beach. The restaurant features a barefoot bar where you can sink your feet in the sand as well as a formal dining area. They had a Reggae band and I must say the sunset was amazing.
Best deal: We found the best deal was to visit the ABC stores for all your creature comforts. They had everything from souvenirs to your morning breakfast.
Best time to go: August was a great time to go. We were there for one week and had nothing but sunshine and warm breezy days.
Best travel tip: Be adventurous. Definitely take the road to "Hana". This road offers beautiful scenery and the best waterfalls in the United States. We definitely recommend stopping at all the waterfalls and taking a quick dip. Absolutely beautiful!
