Best meal:The Agra Mughal offers Avadhi dishes such as biryani and mutten korma. Prices are reasonable and quality of serivce is good.


Best deal: Phone card are difficult to find and hotel phones are expensive to use. However, cheaper international calls can be made from STD/ISD booths which charge fixed rates. These are found throughout India.


Best time to go: Late February to mid March if you plan to visit both, North and South India.


Best travel tip: Traveling to North Indiain cities like Delhi, Agra and Varanasi is best from mid February to mid March. Nights and early mornings are a little cool, you may need a light jacket, but the days are sunny and in the 70's. In the sourthern cities like Cochin, it's not quite hot and humid yet. Days are sunny and in the low 80's, during mid February to mid March.
