A rash of foreclosures A two-block stretch of Mockingbird Lane and Mockingbird Street in Brighton has experienced 23 foreclosures on 19 separate properties since 2002. Loans on the foreclosed properties included both fixed-rate and adjustable-rate mortgages with interest rates ranging from 4.25 percent to a potential rate of 16.4 percent.
